Getting hold of the 3Di
An installation CD for the 3Di comes as part of a two day training programme which is run on a monthly basis at the Institute of Child Health, University College London.
The course includes:
an overview of current issues in autism by Professor David Skuse
step-by-step tuition in the use of the interview software
simulation of the clinical use of the 3Di by role-playing and the rating of videoed interviews
discussion of 3Di outputs with Professor Skuse, colleagues and fellow trainees
presentation and discussion of videoed observational assessments of autistic children
The course fee covers:
the two-day training course (including lunches and light refreshments)
an installation CD for the 3Di system and a single-user licence
a year's telephone and e-mail support
a year's entitlement to developments of the 3Di system
a brief home assessment exercise leading to registration as an accredited 3Di user
